DDLJ’ still spreading magic at Maratha Mandir after 19 years
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is an romantic comedy musical film which was written and directed by debutante director Aditya Chopra, produced by his father Yash Chopra, in which Shahrukh Khan and Kajol played the lead role, is still spreading magic at Maratha Mandir theater which is very close to the iconic Mumbai central railway station. It was released on 20th October 1995. It has completed 950 weeks at Maratha Mandir. The story is based on youngsters who fall in love on a European vacation, and relates how the boy tries to win over the girl’s parents so that she can marry him rather than the boy that her father has chosen for her.
